SEEKING HIGHLY MOTIVATED ASSOCIATE PRODUCERS for upcoming short film:
Actor, award-winning filmmaker & crowdfunding expert Melissa Center (Chicago Fire, Grey's Anatomy, This is Us), is seeking a team of ambitious producers who are eager to learn the fundraising aspect of producing indie art for her next film, entitled JEWFACE:
Miri Cantor's life is f%*d - She's single. She's broke. She can't event get hired for "Jew: The Musical!" Convinced her childhood rhinoplasty is the root of her arrested development, Miri embarks on a reckless mission to reset her life - by attempting to re-break her own nose.
Inspired by her own history, Jewface is a dark comedy about perception, identity, self-acceptance, and what it means to be Jewish in 2025.
The film will be shot by Boaz Freund, an American Cinematographer "rising star," with films that have screened Tribeca & SXSW. Asher Grodman (Ghosts, CBS) is attached.
DETAILS:
*Start: ASAP for campaign prep. Launch slated for Feb 10th
*Duration: approx 25-30 hours total during prep (over 90 days) + 1 hour daily during launch (M-F over 30 day campaign); Campaign ends March 13th
*Short currently slated for April 16th-19th, 2026
Selected candidates will receive:
