CBS SportsLine Digital Internship- Summer 2023 (Remote)

CBS Sports Digital/SportsLine -- a portfolio of premium digital sports media properties including CBSSports.com, CBS Sports HQ, 247Sports, MaxPreps and SportsLine -- is consistently ranked a top-three sports property, reaching more than 70M sports fans monthly across desktop, mobile, and connected TV devices. Our team is a diverse and agile group that effectively collaborates with the business to shape our department.

An Intern for SportsLine is responsible for assisting senior management and senior coordinating producers with the program development, creative and editorial direction of CBS Sports Digital project. We bring our passion for sports and love of our work, serving up sports content to fans everywhere, and this role will help us succeed in that mission.

Intern duties to include:

-Work with senior leadership to execute SportsLine launch responsibilities.

-Review content in a digital environment or digital broadcast facility for distribution for various digital media platforms.

-Prepare updates on projects between the CBS streaming projects and communicate to the team goals/progress.

-Screen content for use on all digital platforms, non-linear editing and encoding.

-Key Projects: assist in developing innovative content for CBS Sports Digital platforms

Important notes:
• Internships are paid at a standard competitive hourly rate, so proper work authorization is needed to be employed within the United States. The pay rate for this role is $20/hr.
• The program starts in June and runs for 10 weeks.
• Interns must be available to work full time (5 days) per week (no weekends). Normal business hours are 9:30AM to 5:30PM.
• You must be a rising junior, senior or master's student to be eligible (December 2023-May 2025 grads).
• College credit is optional, not required. We will provide appropriate documentation if necessary.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $20.0.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
