Senior Streaming Content Producer- Fort Worth

Full Time- Exempt

CBS O&O in Dallas (KTVT) is looking for a dynamic and enterprising Senior Content Producer. The ideal candidate will produce, edit and cultivate content to support CBS DFW branded platforms including, but not limited to our live local streaming network, station website, and multiple social media accounts.

This position requires a clear understanding of the journalism process and ethics. Ability to write, edit and take the lead on programming the streaming channel. Must be creative and organized. This position will program the stream along with turning content into shows and specials. Must have experience working on a variety of social media platforms and understand how to best engage with viewers. Candidate should also have a strong understanding of how to analyze metrics to measure performance. This candidate should be able to strategize streaming for the future.

Experience in broadcast or internet editing/writing is required. Must have excellent organizational skills and possess the ability to multitask.

Requirements:

• 4 years experience in creating and building show content and/or rundowns in cable, broadcast or digital environment.

• Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite

• Excellent organizational skills and possess the ability to multitask.

• Attention to the details while working well under pressure to meet fast paced deadlines.

• Thorough knowledge of social media and the competitive digital news environment.

• Proven strategy of sourcing and creating content for all social platforms, including but not limited to facebook, Instagram, twitter, youtube.

• Passion to own breaking news on all digital platforms.

• Must be willing to work nights and weekends as well as have the flexibility to work extended hours during breaking news situations

• This position reports to our Fort Worth newsroom, with occasional opportunities to work remotely as assigned
