KTVT-TV is looking for a dynamic, aggressive, and creative newscast Producer with strong writing skills, excellent news judgment and proven advanced storytelling abilities.. Must be a strong voice in the editorial meetings and bring to the table meaningful, impactful, and engaging story pitches.

Responsibilities:
• Identify and create content as well as working closely with reporters on story development
• Must craft a newscast that includes more than just story placement
• Focus on thoughtful transitions and breakout opportunities; strong tease writing; creative use of graphics; and advanced production techniques.
• Solid in the booth with effective communication skills, the ability to make quick decisions and manage breaking news
Preferred Education
, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or technical degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred
• Minimum two years proven experience as a line producer in a medium or large market preferred
• Must be results-oriented, innovative, demonstrate teamwork and be willing to work weekends
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required
