The CBS Stations’ Local Ad Sales team is responsible for driving all local revenue growth across all Paramount Global streaming & digital assets, as well as the 27 owned & operated CBS Television Stations. This team collaborates across Paramount Global and CBS Stations divisions, providing thought leadership that drives the local sales GTM strategy, innovation opportunities, training & development, and revenue generation.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for exceptional candidates for the Director, Local Agency Partnerships who will lead all aspects of Key Agency partnerships to drive Local advertising revenue across our portfolio of digital & streaming assets, inclusive of Paramount , CBS, Pluto TV, and more. This position will report directly to the Vice President, Local Agency Partnerships and work closely with Local convergent Key Agency sales teams across the country.
ROLE DETAILS:
The Director, Local Agency Partnerships will oversee the day-to-day pursuit of crucial Key Agency advertising partnerships and will be tasked with driving revenue growth through consultative sales solutions, up-selling existing clients, educating partners on the evolving landscape, and developing new business across Streaming & Broadcast (with a focus on Streaming and Programmatic) to achieve Local sales goals. The Director will be a vital member of the team, overseeing key external relationships as well as focusing on continued relationship building with internal stake-holders.
The Director will work closely with Local Sales Management and oversee & train Key Agency AEs and Account Manager teams, as well as provide management support, facilitate career development, and guide and motivate the teams overall.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
• Collaborate with Account Executives, clients, and agency partners to build effective digital solutions
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and potential Key Agency partners, including prospecting on an ongoing basis to provide a pipeline of new opportunities across Local programmatic & direct lanes
• Build deal terms, negotiate, close, and handle deals with existing and new partners
• Work closely with broad team of Key Agency and Paramount Streaming stake-holders (legal, finance, marketing, yield, programmatic, sales) to assure that partnerships meet business priorities
• Attend sales calls as the digital expert, and work in tandem with AEs/AMs to create media plans and develop sales presentations
• Train and collaborate with Account Executives on a comprehensive, cross platform approach to local and regional advertising, emphasizing continued importance of convergent sales efforts & sponsorship sales
• Be an expert in all stages of workflow, understand systems & processes, and be able to apply this knowledge to advise AEs/AMs & clients, managing campaign expectations both internally & externally
• Advise a support team that helps monitor all digital campaign pacing and effectiveness to ensure campaign delivery and re-merchandising of campaigns
• Collaborate with leadership team in crafting revenue opportunities for strategic packaging and alignment with corporate initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
What you bring to the team:
You have -
• 6 years of experience in advertising/media, with streaming sales experience preferred (experience across multiple buying lanes a plus)
• Excellent sales skills, including: business development, consultative sales approach, presentation abilities, confident negotiator, and post-sale re-merchandising
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to think creatively
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical skill and ability to communicate effectively across multiple skill-levels
• Team-first approach with a passion for creating an inclusive, diverse culture that inspires creativity and collaboration
• Client direct & agency holding company relationships
• Experience with Tier 2/3 Automotive, QSR, Travel, Retail categories
• Dedicated and driven work ethic
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
You might also have -
• BS / BA degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Understanding of the following applications is a plus: Salesforce, Operative, GAM, Google Analytics, Freewheel, or other web related applications
• Programmatic Sales and/or Media Buying experience
• Local Television Sales experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $176,800.00 - 200,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
