CBS Miami/CW Miami 33 is seeking an innovative and creative leader to drive marketing, brand strategy, and community engagement efforts across all platforms. The ideal candidate will establish effective strategies for brand development, oversee visual execution, and manage a team of high-performing marketers, designers, and producers. This role requires ownership of a multi-platform marketing plan and leadership in delivering results for CBS Miami properties.
Primary Accountabilities:
• Coordinate and lead brand, marketing, graphics, promotional, and community collaboration efforts across all platforms for CBS Miami.
• Serve as the liaison with the CBS Group Marketing Team to support brand growth and execute group marketing strategies.
• Build and manage a team of marketers, designers, and producers.
• Uphold brand standards across all news visuals, graphics, and promotional materials to maintain a recognizable brand presence.
• Collaborate with Ad Agency partners to deploy campaigns supporting breaking news and events.
• Monitor brand health using critical metrics.
• Communicate and present concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Lead the production and scheduling of all marketing messages, scripts, spots, and campaigns.
• Partner with the News Director and News Team to ensure alignment with brand strategy.
• Use viewer insights from the research department to inform creative strategies and engage the audience.
Requirements & Education:
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Creativity and experience with graphics systems, editing, and production software.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media, Communications, Marketing, or Advertising.
• 3-5 years of management, promotion, and production experience preferred.
