Are you prepared to join one of the nation's renowned promotional departments? CBS Sacramento offers a rare opportunity for an experienced writer/producer to join its dynamic and award-winning creative team!
Responsibilities:
• Write, produce, shoot, and edit commercials, promos, topicals, and other marketing and commercial initiatives as required.
• Provide shooting and editing services for station commercials and creative projects.
• Collaborate with the Director of Creative Services and the team to conceptualize and execute effective and innovative marketing campaigns for both commercial and station priorities.
• Assist in promoting station events.
• Support in maintaining promo inventory on station logs and other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
• Proven track record with at least three years of experience as a writer/producer/editor.
• Proficiency in writing, producing, shooting, and editing.
• Comprehensive understanding of brand marketing and creative techniques.
• Ability to discern target audience preferences and develop content to meet them.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles.
• Collaboration experience with diverse internal and external groups, including news talent and sales clients.
• Exceptional multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $68,000.00 - 78,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
