Full Job Description
The Associate Producer for CBS Sports Network is responsible for producing tape elements at a high level for live and/or taped studio shows. This includes creating sound packages, highlight reels, teases, and bumpers. The role requires collaboration with Highlight Supervisors and show producers while supporting Broadcast Associates with workflow and quality control. A successful candidate must be passionate about sports, detail-oriented, and possess strong storytelling skills.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee production of sound packages, highlight packages, teases, and bumpers
• Work with the Highlight Supervisor and assist with task management
• Support Broadcast Associates with workflow and quality control
• Communicate effectively with show producers
Requirements:
• Deep knowledge and passion for sports
• At least three years of experience in television production with a focus on video production
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends
• Occasional travel for major sporting events (e.g., Final Four, Super Bowl, Army-Navy)
• Highly proactive and organized with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain a professional and can-do attitude under pressure
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
