We are looking to add an Account Service Representative to our team! The Account Service Representative (ASR) will touch all facets of the business from aiding in the sales process, to ensuring the delivery and stewardship of the deals, to coordinating the coverage of all short term sales available inventory.
Taking direction from the Senior Vice President, the ASR will work with a team of Account Executives (AE's) and Sales Assistants to execute movement of client inventory from one date to another, sell short-term available inventory and distribute audience deficiency units. They will also cover and back-up AE's during their absence. This individual will reports to the SVP, News, Late Night & Daytime Sales (this is a Junior AE role).
Overview & Responsibilities:
• Arrange make goods for program changes on Upfront sales orders
• Prepare and update stewardships on Upfront sales orders
• Work as a liaison between CBS News & Entertainment Division and Network Sales
• Make sales calls on Media Directors and Media Planners at agencies
• Coordinate sales efforts with CBS Account Executives
• Generate a regular flow of client information to VP's of Marketing and Account Executives
• Work with Marketing, Research and Promotion departments to develop tailored sales presentations
• Work with Sales Analysis and Development to maintain accurate LNA and bar records for the Focus System
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of either Ad Sales planning experience (preferably broadcast or cable), or buying experience at an agency
Additional Qualifications:
• College degree preferred
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Must have the ability to focus and navigate through the ever changing demands of a fast-paced work environment
• Must be extremely organized and detailed oriented with exceptional foresight
• Possess excellent communication, written, and verbal skills
