''We're looking for a highly skilled Copy Editor to join our dynamic team at CBS's day time talk show, The Talk. This role involves not just editing and verifying facts, but excellent editorial judgment. Copy Editors must possess the ability to quickly analyze, identify any logical flaws or significant omissions, and draft effective edits. They must be able to look critically at such issues as fairness, balance, and the way the information has been covered.

To accomplish this, a Copy Editor must have a scholar's eye for detail as well as a generalist's eye for news and current events.

In the role you'll be the grammatical gatekeeper of all published information. The Copy Editor will read over stories or, and check for everything from typos to nonsensical sentences to errant commas. This person will be required go over each story meticulously to confirm all the facts contained within it. A fact checker's duties begin with good research skills and an instinct for knowing when a fact has actually been confirmed.

Duties include fact checking, spell checking, grammar and punctuation, phonetic pronunciations of names, etc. Very detail oriented position. Experience in a job like this is a must. This is a long term job for the right person.
