Maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of broadcast technical equipment and systems within the broadcast plant and related facilities at a top-10 market television station duopoly.   Also provide support of station operations in major station efforts or special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of IT, analog and serial digital television systems (SD and HD) and equipment found in a large television plant as well as experience in non-linear editing systems and video compression systems.  They should also be competent in using Microsoft Office products and have at least a basic understanding of CAD software.  Experience with microwave, satellite and two-way radio systems would be considered a plus.  Operating experience (video, audio and camera robotics) is desirable.  Candidates should have a minimum of five years’ experience as a radio, television or cable systems maintenance engineer in a professional broadcast facility or closely related industry.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.  SBE certification is preferred.
