CBS Television Stations consists of 28 CBS-owned stations in 17 major U.S. markets, as well as the stations' digital properties. The portfolio of stations includes 15 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates.
The station group's properties also include CBSN Local, a joint initiative with CBS Interactive that features direct-to-consumer streaming news services in the markets where the Company has local news organizations. CBS Television Stations' premium local content is also distributed to consumers by the group's websites and mobile applications.
Assist the CBS Television Stations National Sales team with servicing accounts and administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Account Executives (AEs) in preparing sales orders and monitoring accounts.
• Input detailed orders into the sales system, WideOrbit. Pull makegood reports and enter AE approvals.
• Answer phones and take detailed messages for the Sales staff and managers.
• Help create sales decks.
• Daily contact with the Traffic Department. Work directly with advertising agency buyers on makegoods as well as billing discrepancies.
• Assist the New Business Sales team with new client research; follow up with client prospects.
• Maintain client database and account list.
• Assigned special projects as needed.
The successful candidate will have:
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a customer service setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Strong math aptitude and time management skills.
• A proficiency with multi-tasking and be detail and results oriented.
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• WideOrbit experience preferred.
