New Business Development Account Executive- Ktvt / Fort Worth
CBS Television Stations consists of 28 CBS-owned stations in 17 major U.S. markets, as well as the stations' digital properties. The portfolio of stations includes 15 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates.
The station group's properties also include CBSN Local, a joint initiative with CBS Interactive that features direct-to-consumer streaming news services in the markets where the Company has local news organizations. CBS Television Stations' premium local content is also distributed to consumers by the group's websites and mobile applications.
CBS Television Dallas (KTVT/KTXA) is looking for a passionate, competitive, business development salesperson who has a proven track record in developing and growing revenue producing accounts. Applicant must be a goal-oriented, self-starter who has a strong knowledge of prospecting, cold calling, information gathering, and closing business. This position requires a person who can develop and maintain strong client relationships. Person must also have a successful track record in achieving/exceeding sales budgets set. Applicant is required to execute as both a product expert and a solution-seller. Candidate's primary responsibility is achieving/exceeding budgets set for KTVT, KTXA & CBSDFW.COM. Position includes base salary, quarterly bonus eligibility, and full benefits.
Qualifications
/Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of business development/outside sales experience
• Knowledge of the DFW Marketplace preferred
• Knowledge of broadcast & digital media preferred
• Knowledge of CRM software preferred
• Must be able to maintain a high volume of prospecting and cold calling
• Must be able to manage a sales funnel and forecast revenue accurately
• Must have proven track record of achieving sales goals
• Must exhibit strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be a stellar presenter in a group setting
• Candidate should be a trustworthy, team player
