CBS Television Network has an opening for an Administrative Assistant in the Financial Planning & Analysis Department at the Television City location.
Job Description:
• This position provides administrative support to the Vice President of Finance and backup support to the rest of the department as necessary.
• Duties include the following:
• Answering phones
• Filing
• Ordering of office supplies
• Copying and distribution of reports
• Dispersing of payables
• Cash conciliation
• Coordinating and scheduling of meetings
• Preparation and submission of weekly timekeeping
• Preparation and distribution of ingoing and outgoing mail
• Making travel arrangements
• Special projects as assigned
Required / Preferred Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of administrative assistant experience with a background working in the finance field.
• Possess the ability to work as a part of a team environment.
• Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have ability to use discretion when working with confidential material.
• Experience working with an entertainment industry production facility is preferred.
**This is a Full Time - Per Diem opening within the department, meaning there are no benefits (medical or 401(k) that accompany this position.
