Nationally syndicated news program is looking for an associate booker to join our growing show and team. The right candidate will be working in a fast-paced, competitive environment to land interviews.

You will work closely with executive producers to secure live and tape guests driving the news cycle.
Responsibilities will include:
-Work on short-term and long-term bookings.
-Assist the production team with immediate bookings for that day's show.
-Any logistics for guests and arrange pre-interviews with segments producers.
-Write needed proposal letters to various publicists, lawyers, and potential guests.

Qualifications/Requirements:
-3+ years of experience working in production or booking at the network or cable news level.

Eligibility Requirements:
-Interested candidates must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.
-Must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift with little or no notice if needed.

Desired Characteristics:
-Must enjoy reading news from different genres, channel surfing morning news programs, and continuously troll online sites for a great story that could lead to a booking.
-We want you to feel extreme excitement over an exclusive interview or booking and be able to juggle and re-prioritize assignments.
