Overview:
The year ahead for ViacomCBS is an exciting one! The CBS Studios Media Relations team is actively seeking a Project Manager to work cross-functionally with publicists and internal marketing groups to ensure teams are working in concert with one another to hit key campaign benchmarks. We are looking for a quality individual who has shown experience with various tasks involved in the implementation of a project, including budgeting, scheduling, organizing, record-keeping, and handling information flow from the team.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements, if necessary
• Partner with internal teams and partners to identify issues early and suggest workable solutions, weaknesses in current systems, processes, and tools and work to improve them
• Assess, recommend and implement strategies for increased clarity, communication, production, and workflow efficiencies
• Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information
• Lead communication of timelines, status updates, and potential risks to the project team
• Handle project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current and accurately filed and stored
• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails
• Communicate with marketing to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
• Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
• Additional tasks, as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS required
• Significant experience working in campaign project management
• Proven history of working on complex projects and campaigns with tight deadlines
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple partners at all levels of a corporate organization
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to change gears quickly and nimbly when changes happen to processes and projects
• Lead scope, budget, and campaign resources
• Superb verbal and written communication skills to relay information simply and clearly to creative marketing and cross-functional departments
• Can see the big picture and strategy and how seemingly disparate pieces of information may align, while also being laser-focused on the small details
• Calm, balanced, level-headed, and collaborative in nature
Additional Qualifications:
• Project Management certification(s)
• Experience working in Jira, Confluence, Airtable, Google Suite, Slack
