CBS Television Studio's Physical Production Department is seeking a motivated Executive Assistant who can function effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The Executive Assistant will support the Vice President of Production.
Physical Production oversees all scripted, late night, and alternative programming for CBS Studios. Production works hand in hand with producers on managing budget, calendars, crew and logistics. We collaborate with all departments at the Studios such as Development, Current, Casting, Business Affairs, Legal and Finance.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Assist with answering phones when necessary
• Maintain Studio Contact Lists for all shows and Main Contact List
• Maintain Show Crew Lists and Production Schedules for deptartment
• Maintain distribution grid for all shows (dailies, cuts)
• Manage invoices, mail, and personal service agreements (PSAs).
• (TA's, L D's, Check Requests, Related Party Requests for all shows / executives.)
• Process DGA deal memos (work in conjunction with Labor Dept)
• Various administrative responsibilities (mail, storage, wrap accounting)
• Distribute Production Manual and intro email to all new shows/pilots
Basic Qualifications:
• 1-2 years in television production experience necessary (strong internship experience considered)
• Excellent typing and office skills are essential
• Candidate must be a self-starter who can initiate and maintain office systems
• Strong phone and organizational skills are required
Additional Qualifications:
• Passionate and knowledgeable about the television industry
• Strong decision-making ability; good problem solver with the ability to anticipate issues and alternatives
• Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and accurately
