Overview & Responsibilities
CBS Studios is looking for a Coordinator, Communications to join the team!
• Organize and distribute press clippings, sending show episodes to press as requested, drafting and proofreading written publicity materials, and addressing press inquiries.
• Assist in planning events such as the press tours, events, and department meetings.
• Act as liaison to guests including scheduling meetings, greeting and ushering clients, talent, creative staff, and executives.
• Coordinate and arrange domestic travel and hotel accommodations.
• Monitor and distribute press coverage on network programming and talent.
Basic Qualifications
• Previous experience in the entertainment industry is required. Ideally 2-3 years.
• College Degree preferred
Additional Qualifications
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• Must have Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
• Skilled in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
