KCBS2/KCAL9 TV, the CBS Owned & Operated Duopoly in Los Angeles (Studio City, CA), is looking for a Sales Intern. Candidate will have the opportunity to experience how a major Broadcast News Television Station operates, specifically within the Sales/Marketing Department. Candidate will take part in day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Sales Marketing management in executing sponsored promotions (on-air, online, and on-site)
• Work closely with departments that have day-to-day interaction with Sales Marketing (Research, Production, Creative Services, Digital, News)
• Assist production team on local commercial shoots
• Ideate and create sales proposals and recaps
• Act as an on-site representative for station and client sponsored events
• Administrative support related to daily operations of the Sales Marketing Department
• Research market trends and promotions and submit weekly reports to Sales Marketing management
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Photoshop
• Proficient in writing and creating social media content on all major platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Innovative idea generator, able to think outside the box to create unique opportunities
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Established history of delivering projects on-time
Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‘'time basis.
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
