College students–kickstart your career at the heart of culture and conversation with entertainment’s most iconic brands! Our Summer Internship Program is a paid, immersive 10-week experience designed to help you explore career paths while bringing your passions and fresh perspectives to work. This well-rounded program not only offers hands-on learning but also serves as a pipeline for future opportunities.

This CBS News Miami intern will learn the fundamentals of broadcast and digital journalism.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist assignment desk with news gathering duties including how to find potential stories, research stories of the day and cover breaking news.
• Work with show producers to help build newscasts.
• Support and observe reporters in the field.
• Learn basic writing, shooting, editing skills.
• Observe and participate in the production of the live on-air newscast.
• Write stories for digital and streaming.
• Assist in any administrative tasks.
• Intern should be available to work in person.

Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‘'time basis.
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
