College students–kickstart your career at the heart of culture and conversation with entertainment’s most iconic brands! Our Summer Internship Program is a paid, immersive 10-week experience designed to help you explore career paths while bringing your passions and fresh perspectives to work. This well-rounded program not only offers hands-on learning but also serves as a pipeline for future opportunities.

WBZ CBS News Boston produces 9 hours of live newscasts for our broadcast and stream channels every weekday. Our focus is local news which has an impact on the lives of our viewers and highlighting the stories which uplift our communities.

The news intern will work across all aspects of the daily newscasts. You will assist producers with researching and writing stories. You will also work with reporters in the field to help with news gathering and production of their pieces. There will be opportunities to watch the live broadcast from the control room. The mix of these roles will depend upon your desired field of focus.

Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program. Note: Paramount does not provide financial relocation support or housing stipends.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‘'time basis.
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
