WJZ is looking for a talented Producer/Editor to join our team.

The ideal candidate has a great eye and can work optimally to meet deadline demands. Strong writing is a priority.

Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:

• Writing creative copy to pair with creative editing.

• Producing video with sound elements that evoke emotion and are memorable.

• Produce content for community initiatives and streaming.

• Help manage content across all platforms

Qualifications:

• Professional writing or college-level writing required

• Knowledge of non-linear editing systems

• Knowledge of social media

• Must be able to work in a team environment and work weekends

• Previous experience in local television news a plus
