Compensation and Benefits include: Base Salary ($50,000 - $60,000/year) and eligibility for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Plan, Life Insurance Coverage, Disability Benefits, Tuition Assistance Program, PTO.
DESCRIPTION:
KCNC-TV is looking for an energetic and innovative producer who is more than a show stacker. Successful candidate knows how to let the content dictate the format and understands top story treatment, urgent production style, effective teasing, and use of live elements. Candidate will oversee daily production of a newscast and occasionally produce content for our streaming platform. May assist with digital, social, and breaking news coverage. Responsibilities include, but not limited to writing, producing, and editing content. Must have proven ability to enterprise story ideas to enhance viewership.
Shift may vary.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum two (2) years of experience as a line producer
-Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred
-Excellent organizational and communication skills required
