Overview:
CBS-Owned and Operated Duopoly (KYW-TV/WPSG-TV) in Philadelphia is seeking a highly motivated Executive Producer with a passion for news, creative approach, social media expertise, and an overall dedication to journalism. On our leadership team, we stand with those who are transparent, engaged, accountable, and committed to diversity, inclusion, and equity.
Responsibilities include:
• Oversight of producers for daily newscasts at 11 pm, 10 pm cut-in on CW Philly.
• Work with producers and reporters to generate compelling production techniques and phenomenal ideas for presenting content in engaging new ways with a focus on promoting all platforms
• Must be a phenomenal teammate
• Able to work closely with the news leadership team on daily news coverage
• Multi-task on long-term projects, special reports, and other programming
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years senior news management experience in a major market required
• Must live in the Philadelphia market
Additional Qualifications:
• Line producing, field producing, and special projects production experience preferred
• Familiarity with SONY ELC, or other control room studio automation, non-linear desktop digital editing equipment, and newsroom I-News computer system, or other similar systems
