Position Overview:
This position provides administrative support to the President/General Manager of KCBS and KCAL. The role involves managing schedules, meetings, and communications, and requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide fast, accurate responses to requests and follow up on action items
• Serve as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and employees
• Manage calendars and schedule meetings
• Screen calls and correspondence
• Prepare agendas, presentation materials, and notices for meetings
• Perform administrative duties including filing, typing, ordering supplies, and copying documents
• Plan and implement small-scale events for the station
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably in the entertainment industry
• Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Compensation:
• Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
