Position: Digital Content Producer/Assignment Editor
Compensation and Benefits include: Base Salary ($50,000 - $60,000/year depending on experience) and eligibility for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Plan, Life Insurance Coverage, Disability Benefits, Tuition Assistance Program, PTO.
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: In this position, person will work with the CBS4 Denver morning team to create digital content and social campaigns to support the show and drive morning news. Person will be skilled at social media and web site publication. Candidate must be aggressive with breaking news and have strong organizational skills as they manage content across multiple platforms. This person will manage news crews and assignments, deal with logistics, monitor phones, police scanners, and contribute story ideas. Will review news releases and monitor local news sources.
REQUIREMENTS: Website and social media publication experience
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Assignment Desk experience preferred. College degree is preferred.
