JOB TITLE: Associate Producer

OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES: Employee will assist in the preparation and production of CBS13 and Good Day Sacramento Newscasts. Duties include preparing formats and scripts for news shows, operating studio production equipment including teleprompter, graphics, and newsroom computer systems. Individual must be able to work flexible hours and overtime, including early mornings and weekends. Other duties as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate should have familiarity with studio and control room practices, newsroom operation experience a plus. Excellent communications skills are essential. Television experience and/or college background in television preferred.

Hiring Salary Range: $17.00 - 17.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
