WDJT-TV, Weigel Broadcasting's CBS affiliate in Milwaukee Wisconsin is looking for a Weekend Morning Anchor/Weekday Reporter. We are a family-owned company committed to storytelling in our local communities. We don?t have corporate must-run stories or mandates. We have an entrepreneurial spirit and are dedicated to digging deep into what our local viewers want to know about. As a reporter and anchor you will help support our brand identity of - Your Hometown Station?.
Our anchors help write newscasts and have editorial input on content. Our reporters work with photojournalists and are responsible for preparing and delivering compelling stories for multiple platforms. We want you to become a part of our community, develop sources and pitch stories that are engaging and relevant to those communities. The ideal candidate must have proven reporting and anchoring skills with strong writing and solid news judgment. Strong live remote reporting skills are a must.
