WDJT-TV, Weigel Broadcasting?s CBS affiliate in Milwaukee Wisconsin, is searching for a Part Time Editor. Join our growing news team to bring viewers in Southeastern Wisconsin unbiased news that matters to the communities we serve.
This is a part time weekend early mornings video editor supporting our Morning Newscasts by editing news and sports, posting video to digital platforms and utilizing different sources including feeds, archives, and raw video to assemble various types of news stories.
Successful candidates will have non-linear experience, preferably using Edius software, have effective communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Previous newscast editing experience is a plus. Must be flexible with working hours which may include holidays.
Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for job, if not currently employed by Weigel Broadcasting Co.
