WDJT-TV, Weigel Broadcasting's CBS affiliate in Milwaukee Wisconsin, is searching for a Digital Content Producer. Join our growing news team in our inclusive, fast-paced newsroom bringing viewers in Southeastern Wisconsin unbiased news that matters to the communities we serve.
Looking for an assertive newsroom professional with strong news judgment and the ability to generate and determine engaging and relevant editorial content. Successful candidate must have prior newsroom experience, be extremely organized with an aptitude for logistics and have the proven ability to excel in a fast-paced competitive newsroom. Must monitor newsroom alerts, manage daily assignments and effectively communicate coverage plans to newsroom staff. This role will research and create digital content for all platforms and contribute to editorial meetings. Must have strong writing skills. Previous experience posting content to websites and social media platforms a must.
