Weigel Broadcasting Co. seeks a dynamic, high-energy Creative Services Director (CSD) for its Milwaukee Group of television stations. The Creative Services Director will oversee brand development, strategy and management for 8 television streams including CBS58 WDJT, top-rated independent WMLW and Telemundo Wisconsin affiliate WYTU. The CSD must motivate, mentor and lead staff in planning and executing innovative and impactful image campaigns for news, weather, local programming and syndicated shows and topical news promotion across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and story-teller who can conceive strategic promotional plans to improve audience and sales base, community image, and ratings. Must have the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, have strong organizational skills, supervise day to day activities of the Promotion and Graphics Department, coordinate commercial production, community campaigns, contests and sales promotion, manage brands, and possess advanced video and radio production skills to lead, develop and train creative staff. Excellent communication, proven leadership skills, an interest in new technology and social media acumen, and the ability to achieve high-level production quality are needed. Must have a proven track record of successful marketing concepts and branding efforts. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Final Cut desired.
