Assignment Desk Editor
CBS-58 seeks an Assignment Editor to join our news staff. Duties will include but not be limited to generating story ideas, monitoring scanner traffic, managing daily assignments and updating our station website and other digital platforms.
Requirements:
Hours will vary but will include weekends.
Must have assertive newsroom skills including strong news judgment and ability to determine editorial content of newscast on a daily basis.
Candidate should have excellent communication skills
Must be able to handle a high-pressure environment and multiple tasks under strict guidelines.
