Job Description:
Social Media Admin assists with the day-to-day execution of our social media efforts. You'll help manage the content calendar, assist with posting content, engage with our audience, track performance, and contribute to campaigns that align with our mission to amplify young voices.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and updating the social media content calendar
Help draft and schedule posts across platforms
Brainstorm creative content ideas relevant to our audience and mission
Monitor post performance (likes, reach, shares, etc.) and share insights with the team
Reply to comments and DMs and engage with other accounts in our space
Support the planning and execution of digital campaigns
Stay informed on trends, challenges, and relevant youth-led content online
Skills and Qualifications:
Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn - knows how to post, engage, and leverage platform features
In tune with current social media trends, youth culture, and viral content
Strong organizational skills - helps keep the content calendar on track and schedules consistent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to track audience engagement and understand performance metrics (reach, saves, clicks, etc.)
Comfortable working in a start-up style, creative nonprofit environment
Collaborative and proactive - open to feedback and quick to adapt
Familiarity with Notion or similar project management tools (or willing to learn quickly)
Bonus: Interest in storytelling, youth issues, media, or activism
