How do I hire a Casting Assistant? Casting by Margeaux is a casting agency focusing on editorial, print and commercial advertising. Clients range from Rachel Comey to Vogue to Nike. We work with modeling agencies worldwide as well as specialize in street scouting both in NY & LA.
I'm looking for a someone with a great eye who considers themselves a hustler. You should have a strong work ethic, be fast, efficient, and good with all things photo and computers. There will be a lot of administrative tasks such as uploading photos to PDF databases, doing sign in at casting, entering in data etc.
It is also ideal if you are comfortable going up to people in the streets and approaching them for casting purposes. This would entail taking some photos of them and collecting their information.
Right now I'm looking for someone on a freelance/part time basis, likely 2-3x a week. A lot of the work can be done remotely.
There is definitely room for growth as the company as it's only 1.5 years old and growing rapidly.
Candidates must live in NYC.
