Position Overview
The Residuals Processing Coordinator is responsible for sorting, shipping, and supporting the processing of residual checks to various guild(s).
Core Responsibilities
Timely sorting of residuals checks, invoices, and packaging to the appropriate guild(s)
Maintain tracking log for all outgoing checks and incoming delivery slips.
Assist with residual adjustments and data entry of residual setups
Answering talent calls and emails, processing stop reissues, pay histories, beneficiaries, and researching payments
Printing of residual invoices and matching to residual checks.
Log and package checks to send with driver for guild delivery.
Log and scan all incoming delivery slips for guild verification.
Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications Tech-savvy - must be skilled at learning and adapting to new systems and software applications (e.g. must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, and Outlook, with excellent Excel skills).
Must be able to communicate effectively - including active listening, written and oral comprehension - with all levels of staff, management, and clients as needed.
Must be able to handle a high volume of work with high accuracy.
Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task effectively to meet firm deadlines.
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to interpret and/or handle confidential information.
Highly organized - documentation, filing, logging, and maintaining a clean work area.
Great with numbers - comprehensive mathematical knowledge and abilities required.
Eager and willing to learn new job functions.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in client-facing or customer service a plus.
Previous entertainment residuals, royalties, payroll or accounting experience a major plus.
Special Work Conditions
Sedentary - Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.
The compensation range for this position in Burbank, CA is $18.00 to $23.00 per hour. Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
