Position Overview
The Production Payroll System Manager is responsible for leading the Cast & Crew Hours+ Tier 2 team and to coordinate Hours+ system changes. This role supports the Hours+ clients, as well as internal teams such as Payroll Operations, Products, Product Adoptions, and others. The Manager is highly focused on delivering operational excellence, resolving client's inquiries as well as contributing to functional testing and design. This position will be responsible for ensuring that support processes are well defined and documented, as well as that the team is up to date with system changes and delivering excellence towards client expectation.
Essential Functions
Provide support to end user issues. Troubleshoot problems accurately, have grace under pressure and possess a patient attitude to deal with a variety of situations and personalities
Build sustainable relationships with customers by providing timely and accurate support
Manage workload for Hours+ Tier 2 team, track team KPIs, define processes and knowledge base
Manage support queue and helps to prioritize and coordinate support tickets
Document the issues and coordinates testing and solutions with products and technology teams
Contribute to user training and documentation, including the development of various training materials
Modify the configuration of Cast & Crew digital solutions and HTG per customer requests
Provide hands-on support to Payroll and HTG team with new rule role-outs and system functionality
Facilitate various ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
Minimum education preferred: Bachelor degree
Customer focus. Develops and maintains good working relationships with customers
Has experience with external and external customer/product support
Minimum 1-5 years of accounting, payroll or production experience preferred, preferably in the Entertainment industry
Ability to work independently, set priorities and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and manage time effectively
Comfort and skill working with all levels of the team
Special Work Conditions
Sedentary - Exerts up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Schedule must be flexible to accommodate client and business needs.
