Position Overview
The Production Incentives Analyst reports to the Vice President, Film & Television Production Incentives. As part of the production incentive team, the analyst will contribute to the development and growth of the production incentive department with the goal of making Cast & Crew's incentive department the go-to source for production executives. This position will provide the right candidate with a great opportunity to learn all about film production incentives. Dream of being a producer? Responsibilities
Review and succinctly summarize production incentive legislation for publication in company newsletter, website, or other company marketing collateral
Assist in the preparation of the bi-monthly production incentive newsletter, annual incentives guide, and other related incentive materials
Assist in creating and maintaining jurisdictional production incentive information
Develop working relationships with appropriate film office and revenue department representatives
Research and present solutions to production incentive issues as necessary
Participate in industry events as required
Provide administrative support as required
Travel to conferences and industry events as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree preferred
Minimum of two years of work experience (one year work experience in the entertainment industry is preferred)
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Intermediate or better knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe required
Highly motivated, analytical, and proactive with ability to work independently
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues as they arise
Familiarity with domestic film production incentives and film production knowledge is a plus
Ability to work overtime as needed
Special Work Conditions
Sedentary - involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.
