This is a Part Time Job
Entry-level, part time position is primarily involved with coordinating festival submissions & screenings for company's film slate, coordinating traffic of film deliverables to buyers around the world. The position requires a flexible and organized person who can shift between roles and develop new skills as required. Some exposure working in a film and/or television office is preferred. An appreciation of non-fiction film is a must. This position is remote/in person and encompasses 16-20 hours during office hours during the week depending on work load and your availability.
Details: Manage delivery of files to international broadcast/streaming partners; coordinate with channels & platforms; work with filmmakers to coordinate creation of new files or make adjustments as needed. Deliver DCPs, marketing materials or other screening files to international film festivals.
Knowledge/skills needed
The position requires a flexible and organized person
Post-production coordinating experience - understanding of visual, audio requirements.
Ability to export and edit files is a plus.
Based in NY (Cargo's hard drives are in our office in Brooklyn), but position can be partly remote.
