Internship Start Date/Season: Fall/Winter 2022-23
Internship Duration: 3 Months
Time/Days Required: 10-20 hours per week
Workplace Requirements: Primarily remote- can be on site once a week if local to Suffolk County, NY or LA
Assist busy production company and CEO/Producer/Writer/Director in all aspects of film and series production from development through and including delivery of completed film.
Work with the existing team and support and add value to wherever is needed.
Some tasks may be clerical and menial and some may require initiative, diligence, follow up and finding out the answers / learning along the way.
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
-Creation and/or maintenance of lookbooks, pitch decks, and sizzle reels.
-Sales follow up: emails, phone calls, tracking updates
-Script coverage
-Deliverables support
-Preliminary budget work
SKILLS NEEDED:
Strong organization and communication skills (written and verbal)
Must be confident in making phone calls and/or follow up to email or in pursuit of information. Producers do not rely alone on non verbal communication.
Should be interested in any and all aspects of filmmaking specifically from the business / producing side
Experience with Adobe, Canva, editing software
Huge plus if experienced with Movie Magic
Ability to work independently, take direction well and pay attention to detail
MUST be positive & eager to learn about the entertainment business, committed and organized! Looking for great listeners who will leave their egos at the door!
