INTERNSHIP (Seasonal 2023-24): MarketingPosition Overview: The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting with driving game day experiences for fans at home games for the NBA G League Capital City Go-Go.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with designing and planning of game day concourse experiences.
• Help conceptualize concourse activations that bring Theme Nights (peak-on-peak games) to life for fans. Assist with theme night design elements to ensure brand alignment, assist with ambassador team preparedness, and proper execution of corporate partnership integration.
• Design, plan, and complete a single theme night project towards the end of the Go-Go season.
• Help coordinate with outside vendors to deliver promotional items or decoration items.
• Coordinate on concourse set-up and break-down requirements.
• Support game day execution of all non-peak-on-peak games. Ensure in-bowl signage is set-up prior to the game and remove in-bowl signage after game.
• Produce recap materials for all Peak-on-Peak theme nights including decks, videos, and summaries for the Go-Go website.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; in pursuit of bachelor's degree or master's candidate preferred.
• Experience working in sports or with a marketing street team a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as on an individual basis as situation dictates.
• Ability to think creatively and propose creative solutions.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Excellent customer service skills and positive demeanor.
• Detail driven and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and various social media platforms.
• Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and communicate with others.
• Flexibility to work 20 hours per week including evenings and weekends as Capital City Go-Go game schedule dictates.
• Ability to drive a marketing vehicle.
• Access to reliable transportation and housing.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
