Intern - Video/Photo

This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship

Camp Huawni is an outdoor youth summer camp located in the Piney Woods of East Texas. We're currently accepting applications for our videographer and photographer positions, which are 8-week long, paid internships.

Are you passionate about capturing special moments on film? Do you love the outdoors? Are you really good at editing video? Do you have a strong work ethic? Would you like to have the opportunity to grow personally and develop lifelong friendships while sharpening your video & film skills?

If you answered ''yes'' to any of the above questions, Camp Huawni might be just the place for you!

Goals of the internship program:
-Capture Camp Huawni through video/photo so that it can be shared with new and current Camp families during the year
-Use your creativity to produce compelling video/photo content that you can proudly share in your creative portfolio
-Be sharpened and challenged, both as a videographer/photographer and a leader

Roles and responsibilities:
-Create a thorough video/photo shot list, calendar, and action plan for the summer
-Edit, compose, and finalize video/photo assets on time
-Manage and coordinate all video/photo during Camp with the marketing director
-Implement marketing messages to camp videos/photos
-Create and complete individual session highlight videos/photos
-Potentially lead camper video/photo activity groups throughout the summer and create camper-led video/photo
-Manage CampMinder (online) video/photo upload process

Requirements:
-Must be a currently enrolled college student
-Superior organizational and time-management skills
-Proficient knowledge of working with HD or DSLR cameras
-Proficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Premiere Pro
-Coachability and willingness to learn and think outside the box
