An established Talent Management Company is looking to grow our Literary Department by adding an experienced Literary Manager in a Commission-Only (with generous splits) position. Do not apply if Commission-Only does not work for you.
We currently have the beginnings of a literary department-- feature films in the works with award-winning writer/director clients through big four agencies and major financing companies, and are shopping television shows starring known celebrities, having frequent pitch sessions. We have further very qualified potential clients awaiting service, such as SXSW and Sundance Feature FIlm producers with scripts to shop, but we don't have the bandwidth to provide service -- This is where you come in.
This is a position that you could apply to if you have worked as a Lit Agent, Lit Manager, or Assistant or other supportive function in a lit department for at least a year. Please do not apply if you have no lit experience!
We are seeking a Manager to be the Literary Department Head. We need someone to head up this department for us, as we desire the department to expand.
You will work on behalf of our current clients, any clients you bring with you, and any clients you bring in while you are with the company to grow and develop our Literary Department.
Up until recently we have primarily been a Talent Management Company focusing on Actors. We rep known Celebrities, Multiple Series Regular Actors, Studio Feature Actors, etc. We are a small but successful company with great ambitions to grow.
Our plan is to bring you in with a generous commission split, provide you with excellent, money-making clients, and work together with you to grow you with the company. You will be promoted, rewarded, and paid in kind with our mutual success.
