The London office is seeking a highly organised and motivated Assistant to work within the TV department. The department is comprised of non-scripted, scripted, and comedy agents. This Assistant will work across the non-scripted desk.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in non-scripted entertainment, ranging from formatted studio shows, to reality tv, documentaries, social experiment programming and beyond. They should be highly motivated, quick-thinking and entrepreneurial. They should also be extremely organised, have the ability to multi-task and be able to cope very well under pressure.
The Assistant will be responsible for administrative duties including a high volume of phone calls, coordination of a continuously, very high volume of meetings and schedules - including foreign business trips, preparing expense reports, and personal assistance as needed. They will also be expected to do some degree of industry research and evaluation in consultation with the non-scripted agent.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carrying out all assistant duties including liaising directly with clients and buyers across different time zones, managing the agent's ever-changing schedule, expense reports and meeting preparation.
• Coordinating all aspects of domestic and international travel inclusive of conferences such as MIPCOM.
• Acting as the first point of contact for the agent to help manage their workload, escalating where necessary.
• Logging and tracking incoming materials from clients for projects in both development and pitching stages.
• Ensuring client commission is collected in a timely manner by raising and tracking commission invoices.
• Researching international formats and their rights positions with a focus on taking them to the US market.
• Keeping tracker documents, and files including client rosters and accounting documents up-to-date.
• Producing reports on show performance, including ratings, reviews and age demographics, based on internal resources and independent research for client and internal use.
• Deputising for the agent when required, particularly on urgent matters while they're travelling.
