The Role
CAA is seeking an assistant to support an Executive in our Tour Marketing department in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is curious about music, touring, and marketing. The individual should have strong administrative skills in a high-volume setting and have the ability to multi-task. A successful candidate will be highly organized, energetic, and able to communicate confidently. The role combines administrative work with project management and requires exceptional attention to detail. The candidate will work with internal agent teams, artist teams, and external partners to manage marketing and ticketing initiatives for clients' worldwide tours. The ability to work unexpected overtime is required.
Responsibilities
• Correspondence, including phones and heavy emails
• Act as the liaison between clients, management teams, promoters, labels, publicists, social media teams, media partners, and agents
• Manage tour announce and on sale grids
• Review artist websites, ticket links, tour ads, and social media accounts
• Diligently track all projects with a keen eye for detail
• Brainstorm unique marketing ideas
• Analyze ticket counts
• Schedule and coordinate meetings for the Executive
Qualifications
• At least 1 year of experience in the live music industry, marketing, entertainment or related fields is preferred but not required
• At least 1 year of administrative experience
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Photoshop experience is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of social media and current digital trends
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail, follow-up, and ability to be proactive is required
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality
Education
BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred.
