The Role
The Sports Property Sales team is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Assistant to support a senior executive focused on sponsorship sales across leading sports and entertainment properties. This role goes beyond administrative support. The ideal candidate is someone who is analytically strong, a skilled writer, and a thoughtful problem solver who can operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in sports and entertainment partnerships and learn the business from the ground up. Assistants are an important part of the CAA structure, and it is hoped that the successful candidate will ultimately become an Agent within the company.
Responsibilities
• Manage complex calendars, scheduling, travel, expenses, and high-volume communications
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client and deal information
• Take detailed meeting notes and proactively track follow-ups and next steps
• Build and maintain detailed tracking documents in Excel, including revenue summaries, contract trackers, renewal schedules, and pipeline reports
• Create financial summaries and deal comparisons to support negotiation strategy
• Maintain Salesforce CRM records and generate reporting as needed
• Conduct structured research on brands, industries, competitors, and market trends
• Synthesize research into concise written briefs for internal and client use
• Draft partnership proposals and customize sales materials
• Create high-quality presentations in PowerPoint and Google Slides
Qualifications
• Strong skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, financial tracking, clean formatting)
• Ability to organize large datasets and translate numbers into insights
• Comfort building and maintaining detailed trackers and revenue models
• Exceptional written communication skills
• Ability to draft professional proposals, emails, research briefs, and client-facing materials with minimal oversight
• Strong proofreading and editing ability
• Demonstrated ability to think through ambiguous situations and propose solutions
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and stay organized under pressure
Additional Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in a professional environment (agency, consulting, finance, legal, sports, or related fields preferred)
• High level of professionalism and discretion
• Strong interest in sports, sponsorships, and sales
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
