The Role
The Business Affairs Group at CAA ICON is looking for a Senior Paralegal/Senior Associate with a minimum of 5 years' experience. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of commercial construction knowledge, business acumen, and effective client interaction. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to effectively prioritize and organize a substantial amount of work. Responsibilities
The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed in this position. They are not intended to prescribe or restrict the assignments that management may make.
• As directed by your manager, assist project teams throughout the entire project, including design, construction, and completion of large-scale venue projects
• Responsible for document control, communications, and all administrative functions to support assigned project teams
• Interact with Owners/Clients, Architects/Engineers, and Contractors/Subcontractors and project stakeholders professionally and tactfully regularly
• Draft and distribute certain project management agreements, purchase orders, change orders, procurement documentation, and other documents related to active construction/development project sites
• Draft and distribute NDAs and other transactional agreements
• Draft summaries of certain agreements
• Coordinate with team members on assigned tasks
• Able to redline and run comparisons on various documents
• Maintain a detailed tracking database for all issued agreements, tasks, and other coordinating items
• Assist on special projects as needed
• Must be very good at managing own responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Able to handle multiple projects with efficiency at once
• Very tech savvy; knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Preferably adept at using e-signature services
• Excellent writing skills and great attention to detail; excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Requirements
• The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business, legal expertise, business acumen, and commitment to our company's mission
• Minimum 5 years' experience with contract drafting, contract tracking, and contract management
• Superior verbal and written communication; excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work well with team members and Company clients, and to respond effectively and quickly to their needs and issues; meet commitments and effectively manage expectations
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Handle confidential information discreetly and with sensitivity
• High level of organization and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing demands
• Self-starter with good problem-solving skills while maintaining a client service orientation
• Must possess strong writing and analytical skills to independently review, draft, and prepare complicated documentation
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently and to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail

Location
• This is a full-time, non-exempt position primarily on-site based in Denver, CO.
• Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
