Senior Paralegal in Legal Operations

The Senior Paralegal – Legal Operations will report to the Head of Legal Operations and/or other senior members within the Office of the Chief Legal Officer. The Senior Paralegal will review, negotiate and draft various commercial and vendor agreements, independent contractor and consulting agreements, and support the legal aspects of agency relations generally in other areas, on an as-needed basis. The Senior Paralegal's tasks will vary, but day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
Key Responsibilities
• Draft and distribute master service agreements (MSAs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), Location Agreements, Speaker Releases and other operational-related agreements.
• Redline and run comparisons on various documents.
• Procure and distribute electronic signatures on agreements through e-signature applications (Adobe, DocuSign, etc.).
• Maintain a detailed tracking database for all reviewed and issued agreements.
• E-file a high volume of documents and correspondence on a regular basis.
• Collaborate and work effectively with other senior paralegals in the department.
• Assist on special projects as needed.
• Provide timely and time-sensitive information and guidance on commercial and vendor agreements.
• Demonstrate extensive negotiation skills with respect to commercial and vendor agreements.
• Demonstrate learning agility and adaptability; be able to improve and evolve approach, systems or strategies where necessary.
• Effectively handle multiple projects at once.
Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience with drafting and negotiating contracts.
• 3-4 years of experience in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Paralegal certificate required.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
• Proficiency in e-signature applications (Adobe, DocuSign, etc.).

Location
This is an on-site role based out of our Los Angeles office.
Salary/Benefits
$50.00 - $65.00 /hour USD
