A division of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), CAA ICON is the world's-leading owner's representative and project management consultancy for the development or renovation of sports, entertainment and public assembly venues. With a portfolio of more than 55 projects and over 2,000 consulting engagements, totaling nearly £38 billion, CAA ICON has managed the delivery of many of the most successful venues around the world and are looking to add to their UK team to continue assisting our client's in delivering their vision.
In this role, you will provide support and assistance to the CAA ICON UK Project Managers, Directors and/or Executives throughout all stages of a large-scale sports and entertainment venue projects, including design, construction, testing and handover. You will be responsible for document control, communications and all administrative functions to support the project team. In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to support new business ventures across UK, Europe and the Middle East through the production of proposals and marketing collateral.
Responsibilities
to include, but not limited to:
• Provide technical and administrative support to executives in the preparation of:
• Owner's/Client Project Briefs
• Request for proposals (RFPs) for potential projects
• Client Reports
• Client direct work package tenders
• Other project administration requirements
• Attend all regularly scheduled project and construction meetings (where necessary) and maintain minutes of all relevant project related meetings as required.
• Maintain project tracking logs including design compliance, risk and opportunity registers, open requests for information (RFIs), non-conformance registers and submittals to support positive project momentum.
• Assist in the preparation of each project monthly pay application for processing.
• Assist with document filing.
• Support in the preparation of requests for proposal from prospective Clients and other marketing and presentation materials.
• Assist with travel planning of the wider team.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Some previous experience in the construction or a related services industry.
• Bachelor's degree (Ideally in construction, engineering or like industry) or equivalent work experience.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Multi-tasking and the ability to problem solve and master new concepts in a short period of time.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of software (Word, Excel, Project, Teams, OneDrive, etc) is a necessity.
• Familiarity with InDesign software is desired.
• Detail-oriented, organised in thought, process and action, as well as creative, analytical and collaborative.
