CAA is seeking an Assistant to support a senior a gent in our Music Touring department, based in NY . This agent works with some of the biggest acts in the industry, and also does a lot of work in the International space. Music Touring connects fans to their favorite artists through live experiences in all sizes of venues, across regions, and across musical tastes. Touring is a fast-paced, high volume business requiring exceptional attention to detail, relationship management, ownership of tasks, and understanding of the space. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience working in the music industr y, preferably with a focus on touring, booking, management, or the agency world .
Responsibilities
• Manage administrative duties including handling heavy phones, calendar management, coordinating meetings and schedule s , s cheduling travel, booking reports, preparing expense reports, and general office management tasks
• Communicate directly with clients, managers and buyers , record labels, and promoters
• Organize & track offers (confirmed, pending or pass)
• Track contracts (Buyer Signed, CAA Reviewed, FEC) and deposits
• Enter final reports and settle shows in our internal tracking system
• Update client calendars in TR, gather ticket counts, create/update Offer/Tour Grids
• Track payments and accounting with strict attention to process and detail for some of the biggest touring artists
• Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed
Qualifications
• At least 1 year of professional administrative or equivalent experience , 2+ years of industry experience preferred
• Ability to work well in fast-paced environments; meet tight deadlines; lead multiple projects and expectations; maintain a sharp focus while handling competing priorities
• Attention to detail, strong organization and problem solving skills are a must
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to anticipate needs and execute time-sensitive matters
• Team oriented and able to communicate and collaborate with employees at all levels
• Must be pro-active, take ownership of information and tasks, and be s olutions oriented
• Adept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systems
• S trong command of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
Education
BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred

Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $ 20 -$22 . This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
