The Role
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, quick-thinking, and open to working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment with the capability of performing administrative tasks. The individual should be adaptable, highly organized and detail oriented, and able to effectively multi-task. The successful candidate should possess a strong knowledge of and passion for music touring and booking.
Responsibilities
• Administrative duties include heavy phones, coordinating meetings and schedules, preparing expense reports, booking travel, producing correspondence.
• Tracking ticket counts and communicating with client's team including external management.
• Issuing contracts, tracking and following-up on payments and settling shows.
• Serve as the liaison between agent and accounting department in LA to ensure on time payments to clients.
• Special projects and additional assistance as needed.
Qualifications
• Completion of post-secondary degree/program from accredited University or College, or equivalent work experience preferred but not required.
• 1 year of professional administrative experience supporting an executive in a fast-paced environment, or at least 1 year of professional experience working in the music industry or events is a plus.
• Ability to anticipate needs and execute time sensitive matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure; meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong professional interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
• Must be solutions oriented.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is $30.45 CAD. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus . Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
